Edoardo Giacometti, Social Media & Marketing
Edoardo, after spending one year in the US with a high school exchange program, studied engineering at the University of Florence. His love for computers and IT in general was so deep that now it is his daily work! Always ready to assist the booking office staff with computer troubles, he takes care of the company’s web sites and deals with social networks and web marketing.

Carlotta Santi, Accounting and Financial Office
Carlotta runs the financial dept of the company. As it was not difficult enough, she is a mother of a wonderful 8 y.o. girl, and newly mother of a little dog!

BOOKING OFFICE
Our Operating Office is located in the heart of Florence, and serves as meeting point for all our regular tours. The Booking Office is always at disposal to give you information about our activities, both regular tours and private experiences. They deal with all the reservations and the logistic control on activities and experiences.

Elena Fiaschi
Elena took her deegree in Economy and Tourism from the University of Florence just before joining the Florencetown group. She takes care of the F.I.T private services dept.

Ilaria Di Rigo
Ilaria received her degree in foreign languages from the University of Florence in 2009, and after a few months joined Florencetown group. She deals with Regular Tour Dept.

Giovanna Elia
Giovanna comes from Calabria. After taking her degree in Tourism Economy from the University of Florence, she definitively moved to Florence. She joined Florencetown to assist the regular tour department.

Vanessa Garau
Vanessa joined our company after taking her license to be a tour guide. She is the youngest tour guide and assists with the booking department as well.

Giovanni Manna
Giovanni Manna, our fantastic Chef, comes from Sorrento Coast. He speaks fluently English, indeed he was younger when he spent some years in London running a small Italian rotisserie… of course! Being Neapolitan, passion for cooking is in its genes. He is always ready to share his passion for good food, and his classes are a must do, once in Florence!

Andrea Orlandini
Our Chef Assistant, Andrea, joined Florencetown after working in Dublin in Irish pubs and restaurants. Together with our Chef Giovanni, he will conduct the cooking class with his verve and passion.

CHIANTI TOURS
Although the meeting point is at our head office in the heart of the city, the base for our regular tours outside Florence is our deposit in the Florentine Chianti, the countryside just outside Florence known for beautiful landscape, olive groves, vineyards and, of course, wonderful wines... called Chianti wines, in fact! There, along with about 60 mountain bikes, 20 moto-scooters, 4 minivans, and 2 tuk-tuk you will meet our tour leaders and the assistance staff.

Bill Dillon, I Bike Italy Manager
An American in Florence, since 1993!! Billl has been "liberating foot-worn and weary travelers from the routine of trains and cities" taking them on side roads to discover the beautiful country side. He will be your very-fun and entertaining guide on our Tuscany Bike tour!

Barbara Barrett
After spending years as a banking executive in the financial business in New York City, she then chose to change direction to her life and moved to Tuscany. Unflagging biker, she guides the Tuscany Bike Tour with Bill.

Andrea Torrini
Andrea is our Tuscany by Vespa Tour Manager. Always ready to show you the best of Chianti during day, dj during the aperitivo, for passion! He makes sure all the operations of the tour are run smoothly and will be often along with you. Together with him, you will enjoy a fantastic day through the Chianti country side.

Jacopo Pulcini & Steven Mazza
The two boys of Florencetown are young, positive and full of energy! They are based at our deposit located in the Chianti area (where they enjoy the nature, and the swimming pool after work..) Always ready to assist you with the minivan support, or to guide you during your tours, Chianti little streets and hills have no secrets for them!

Aniko Szabo
Aniko came from California many years ago to study language, and never went back! She started working in the fashion business, but then decided to move forward and become involved with art and culture. She is always ready to let you enjoy the city and its magnificence.

Michele Colloca
Michele comes from Calabria, in the Southern of Italy. Michele began his career as a tour escort throughout the World, from Italian Alpes to the Maldive. Historical guide for his homeland Calabria since 1996, he finally established in Florence in the early 2000s and now he is one of the best guides of the city!
