Your day will begin with an early morning at Piazza Barberini in Rome, where you will meet your private driver. You'll be whisked away in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan, driving south for three hours more or less towards the Bay of Naples, but the first place you’ll be visiting will be Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
