After meeting your guide, you will start out a pleasant walk through the enchanting and mysterious cobble-paved alleys streets, and bridges (Calli, Ponti, Rughette) to reach the most beautiful sights admiring the sumptuous palaces and glimpses of eternity, as you discover the grandeur of St Mark’s Square, a showpiece which beautifully represents the splendor of Venice's past, crowned by the Venetian-Byzantine domes of the grandiose St Mark’s Basilica. Then to the gothic architecture of the Doge's Palace, once the seat of the government, Palace of Justice and prison, as well as the home of the Doge and the hauntingly Bridge of Sigh. 

A final “gran finale” which combines the two souls of this tour and the city itself will be made at the unmissable, iconic Ponte di Rialto over the Grand Canale, where you will learn why the beautiful and daring structure was predicted to fall (while still standing after more than 400years..) and then the tasty conclusion in a special very-local atmosphere enjoying a typical Venetian spritz.

Notes

PLEASE NOTE that starting from the 1st of April 2023 the tour will start at 10:00 AM and will have a total duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Rain Policy

The walking tour will never be cancelled, it will operate rain or shine.

The gondola ride might be canceled due to rain.

We will do our best to proceed with the tour. However, rain could prevent us from being able to offer an enjoyable and fully safe experience.

In case the gondola ride is canceled, we'll issue a partial refund corresponding to the price difference of the tour without the gondola ride.
