A site in Florence your client can not miss: The National Renaissance Statue Museum. It has its settings in one of the oldest buildings in Florence and also one of the most beautiful in Italy. The structure dates back to 1255. Initially the headquarters of the City rulers, later that of the Magistrates , which in the XVIth century becomes the residence of the Bargello, in other words head Police, namesake of the museum today. Throughout the eighteenth century it functioned as a prison. It has been from the beginning the place for many of the most important events of Florence’s civic life.
