Take a behind-the-scenes look at artisans at work. The city of Florence gave birth to artisanal Italian production with its signature “botteghe”—small artisan workshops. This enduring tradition survives and is undergoing a contemporary Renaissance on the left bank of the Arno River. Known as the artisans’ quarter, this tour is a relaxing walk among the narrow streets of the Oltrarno District. Loved by locals, this part of the city is less crowded and has an authentic spirit. Our guide wil take you to visit some artisans working on masterpieces of art, for example silver, gold, perfumes, leather, paper, mosaics and so on...
